Since our opening in 2015, Innovo Kitchen has quickly grown into one of the Capital Region’s most popular restaurants. Our innovative gastropub menu combined with an inviting eat-in atmosphere makes it a popular go-to spot for many people in Latham, NY and the surrounding area. With all of the restaurant’s success, we wanted to expand into a new venture. And that’s just what we did, with our Innovo Kitchen food truck. If you haven’t had the chance to check it out, or experience it at a local event, here’s what you need to know.
Our Innovo Food Truck is a 2020 Ford F59 commercial chassis with a kitchen. The all-aluminum Utilimaster box located on the back of the truck was provided by Vending Truck Inc. in New Jersey. The truck has been mostly used for private events, food expos, and pop-ups. We have also implemented a quarterly giveaway. It is a contest for Capital Region nonprofit organizations to be nominated and win the truck to use for the organization themselves, or to be raffled off in support of the organization.
No matter the event, the Innovo Food Truck offers a variety of themed food to choose from including seafood, smokehouse, tailgate, brunch, and our classic menu offerings. Here are some quick facts about the truck and it’s capabilities:
- We have two service windows located on the truck to make getting food and placing orders seamless and quick.
- The truck has a griddle, charboiler, fryers, stove, oven, convection oven, steam table, a freezer, and more food-related appliances to accommodate different food preparation needs.
- The truck can cook for 15 hours with the 200 pounds of propane that it holds.
- The truck can run for 16 hours on available fuel using the available 15-kilowatt generator.
